In Octomber of 2014, Shaanxi Intitute of International Trade & Commerce signed a
formal contract with LCCI project of Pearson Education and became an education centre of Xi’an Broad Yard International Training School for the LCCI international course.
Through joint efforts of the teachers from both LCCI training base in China and ShaanxiInstitute of International Trade & Commerce, the LCCI courses started in College of International
Economics in Shaanxi Institute of International Trade & Commerce this term have already
successfully finished.
There were two courses of LCCI (Marketing and Business Administration) started in
College of International Economics this term which were separately taught by teacher from
China, Zhang Yun and foreign teacher David. In the process of teaching, these two teachers
explained the obscure and complicated knowledge points from the “all in English” teching
material with special teaching method so that students could get a
comprehensive understand of this course. Mr. Zhang, the teacher of Marketing course,
was not only focus on the professional course study, but also made a detailed analysis of
the course test for the students. For the market investigation part, Mr. Zhang guided the
students design and analyse an English questionnaire with the professional knowledge.
During the learning process of Business Administration, there are much more test and
challenge science the foreign teacher David had the class with English through the whole
semestar, but the students have made efforts to overcome such a problem to make constant
progress and finally learned a lot from this process.
Our LCCI course with all English teaching environment and practical case can not only offer
a professional konwledge building, but also set a steady fundation of certificate gaining and
job hunting. Business skill cultivation and college education have been linked closely through
the cooperation between Broad Yard International Training School (Pearson LCCI China
Training Base) and Shaanxi Intitute of International Trade & Commerce, and have cultivited
a lot of comprehensive talents that masterd both english and business, thus they will make
positive contribution to the comprehensive reform of higher education.
